Malawarebytes full scan does not find anything. After running it, it works.but I have to redo it fter every boot. Before I run it I can't access microsoft outlook 2010. It helps immediately after, especially rkill. Out of desperation I have run unhide (which found some missing links), rkill and malawarebytes after reading various websites suggestions. eg, I can't access microsoft security essentials except for in safe mode as the link does not work. There are still 100's of files and programs missing. On windows, I have managed to transferr (by finding them manually) some of my files and programs with a program called EAseus data recovery wizard trial which allowed me to recover 1gb for free. On windows recovered it is as if I have just bought the computer and all it has is windows. I tried to do a system repair from windows and managed to get wireless back and some functionality, but all my programs and files were gone. A few weeks back I had a security warning pop up from windows action centre (win7 64bit) and I followed instructions that caused me computer to crash ie, when it restarted all my programs were gone, files were gone and even wireless was gone (it's a laptop and I use wireless to connect to the net). I suspect my computer is infected with the restore virus.
